Girls on the Run has been instilling this message in girls for almost 20 years, coaching them through a creative curriculum of life skills and physical activity that prepares them to live active and empowered lives.

SUCCESSES
Girls on the Run of Puget Sound has grown from serving 13 girls in 2002 to serving close to 3,000 girls throughout King and North Pierce counties in Washington state this season.
2020 GOALS
This year is all about improving accessibility, so that all girls can be comfortable and included. One great way GOTRPS is doing this is by providing running shoes and sport hijabs to any girl in the program who needs them. This year they anticipate they'll be handing out 250 pairs of running shoes and 100 hijabs!
HAIKU & GOTRPS
We've been personally involved with our local Girls on the Run chapter for several years — as volunteer coaches, parents and more — and so every year we partner together in support.
