Haiku Bags

Thoughtfully designed.

 Consciously made.

Like a Haiku poem, our bags and accessories are made with beauty and intention.

Our Story

Haiku began in Berkeley, California, in 2003 when new mother Sharon Eisenhauer, after adopting her daughter from Japan, couldn’t find the ideal diaper bag and decided to make her own. Now headquartered in Seattle, Haiku remains women owned and led, designing every product to support women in life's everyday adventures.

Inspired by Nature. Designed for Everyday.

Made from recycled water bottles, our bags help women keep their daily essentials well-organized and their hands free. Inspired by nature, each Haiku bag blends style, function (like locking zippers and RFID protection), and durability.

Designed for Women, by Women

We prioritize female-centric design, creating bags and wallets designed to accompany women on every adventure, providing both style and functionality. From functional pockets and adjustable straps, we prioritize utility and versatility without compromising on style. We embrace inclusivity in our design approach, celebrating the diversity of all women, regardless of their age, race, ethnicity, identity, size, or ability.

Sustainability is in Our Nature

Not only are Haiku bags durable, organized, and beautiful—they also keep plastic out of landfills. Each bag recycles an average of nine post-consumer plastic bottles. We use materials that meet strict social and environmental criteria, ensuring fair labor practices, restricted chemical use, and a verifiable supply chain.
