We are a small yet passionate team of active individuals based in Berkeley, CA. We like to work hard and we love to be outside. We understand the need for a positive work/life balance and the daily challenges of juggling life.

Our intention is to create bags that help support the kinds of lives we lead:  seamlessly taking us from work to play, exploring the woods or urban hiking the neighborhood, Haiku bags will easily shoulder all of your necessities in style.  We design bags from the ground up, starting with an idea, testing it out, asking lots of questions, critiquing and revising until we have a final product that is as poetically functional as it is beautiful.  We believe that detail is everything and our bags are chock full of those little touches that will put a smile on your face. We are famous for fabulous linings, detailed embroidery and print embellishments.  We place pockets at the right angles in the right places, make straps and handles that are so comfortable you’ll hardly notice they are there and use colors and patterns that reflect positive energy and style.

We approach life with passion and creativity. We are inspired by natural elements. Our design details are what set Haiku bags apart.   As with our namesake, Haiku, our products blend beauty, content, and detail in a unique and meaningful, yet compact form.
